Like so many American bands, the Nadas started as a way for its members to pass the time between classes. Unlike so many American bands, the Nadas outlasted their educations and rode a growing fan base to a genuine, honest-to-goodness career.

Founded by national slam poet/coffeehouse haunt Toussaint Morrison, The Blend is a five-piece concoction of working-class ruffians who infuse hip-hop with jazz, rock with Bach, and politics with pleasure. The result? A slow-roasted, genre-defying blend of musical influences more restive than a triple shot of espresso. Call it slam-dance poetry, call it whatever you want-- just don’t call it emo. (Seriously. Don’t.) Weaving veracious lyrics through billows of gorgeous noise.

Skin Kandy started out as an 80's tribute to hard rock and hair bands ranging from Motley Crue to Pantera. Then in 2006 Skin Kandy released their all original debut CD. They have opened for numerous national bands including Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, Bret Michaels of Poison, Buck Cherry, Firehouse, Blue Oyster Cult, and many more.
