After three albums, 4 years,
and hundreds of gigs, Public Property
has established itself as one of America's
top touring reggae bands. Started in 2003
by the Hawaii born and bred frontman Dave
Bess, the band seamlessly jumps from roots
reggae to gospel reggae, ska to hip-hop
infused funk, to rock and back to reggae,
all the while keepin' the dance floor
hot and the booties shakin'.

Doors open at 7pm
Show starts at 9pm
Cost:
$10 - Advance tickets available at The
HuB or
purchase online at www.iowatix.com
$12 - Day of the show
Like so many American bands, the Nadas
started as a way for its members to pass
the time between classes. Unlike so many
American bands, the Nadas outlasted their
educations and rode a growing fan base
to a genuine, honest-to-goodness career.
While
Butterworth is known for his rock ’n’
roll intuitions and Walsmith for his alt-country
roots, they work flawlessly as a songwriting
unit. See the Iowa legends live at The
HuB.

Cost:

The Effects may be the
best Rock ’N’ Roll band on
earth. Witnessing their pure rock show
is like eating an ear-steak. It’s
like throwing a brick through a plate-glass
window, like riding a giant cobra through
the desert. Words can’t say enough
about the four warriors, who sold their
souls to the road in exchange for a Rock’n’Roll
revolution....and the cream will rise.

Got" is featured on HuB CuTs Volume
1.

Ligion's live gigs are
dazzling and full-on contagious animation.
They work hard for the fans every night.
Even if you have no idea who they are,
the first half of the set you may say,
"What am I watching?" By the
third song, you'll be screaming and yelling
and punching your fists in the air. That's
how Ligion measures success.

Fastball released
their first full length album,
"Make Your Mama Proud" in 1996 and toured
extensively
throughout the US with little notice. After a year
and a half
they recorded a second album entitled,
"All The Pain Money Can Buy". Before it's
release in 1998,
the radio had latched onto a catchy little ditty
called
"The Way" and it was clear that Fastball
had a hit on their
hands. Songs like "Sooner or Later", "Fire
Escape" and
"Out Of My Head" followed and the band
toured around
the world. Copies of "All The Pain Money Can
Buy" reached
the platinum, 1 million sales mark by the end of
the year. Fastball
has since released 3 albums and continues to tour
the world. |

Few
bands are as outspoken and thought-provoking as
State Radio, the musically inventive, socially and
politically
charged trio fronted by Chad Stokes (also of Dispatch).
With its sophomore album, Year Of The Crow, the
group
–rounded out by bassist Chuck Fay and drummer
Mad Dog–
matches its conscience-raising messages with an
inspiring
amalgam of rock, punk and reggae that is as
distinctive as it is sublime.

Tea Leaf Green exploded
out of a revitalized San Francisco
music scene after winning the "Song of the
Year" Jammy award
for their last studio release Taught to be Proud.
Thanks to
their loyal, rabid, and growing fan base, the road
warriors
consistently fill venues across this wide country
and have
been enthusiastically received on the festival circuit
with
stand-out performances at Bonnaroo, Wakarusa, moe.down,
High Sierra, and Jam in the Dam. The band's chops
earned the
respect of their musical contemporaries and they
have been
found sharing the stage with The Dave Matthews Band,
Trey Anastasio, Gov't Mule, Bruce Hornsby, John
